Dr. George F. Corrent is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in corneal diseases, cataract surgery, and comprehensive ophthalmology. He earned a bachelor’s degree in zoology from Duke University, a doctorate in neurophysiology from Rice University, and a medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Washington University and a fellowship in corneal and external diseases at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.
Corrent served as chair of the Department of Ophthalmology at Cleveland Clinic Florida from 1988 to 2005 and practiced at Bascom Palmer Naples from 2009 to 2015.
