Dr. Kenderian led the partnership negotiations that brought Bascom Palmer to the UAE, establishing a Centre of Excellence that integrates AI-driven diagnostics, advanced surgical care, and telemedicine services for patients across the Gulf. Under his leadership, the institute supports the region’s first eye bank in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Biobank, making corneal transplantation services available locally for the first time.
